We are looking for a remote Front-end Magento developer to help us build and maintain solid online user experiences for our clients. You will focus on front-end development as part of our team of developers and designers. You are a vital part of our team in developing customer friendly e-commerce solutions.
You like to work structured, independently, and like to share the results of your work with your colleagues. We enjoy learning new things and offer you every opportunity to continuously improve our internal development processes. In your role as a front-end developer, your knowledge contributes directly to the solutions we provide to our clients and to drive the growth of our company. You think along about the solution that best suits the task at hand from multiple perspectives.
What do we expect from you in this role?
- You have demonstrated knowledge in front-end Magento development or have experience with similar frameworks
- You are an experienced developer, strong in CSS/LESS, PHP and Javascript.
- You are used to work with Composer
- We work with Gitlab for versioning and expect you to be familiar with Gitlab or a similar tool as well.
- You are able to work independently and are able to thrive working remotely, while staying connected with our team
- You enjoy solving your work in a creative yet efficient way, knowing when to be pragmatic and when to build world-class robustness
What will you do at BSS Solutions?
You will work on developing and maintaining Magento based e-commerce solutions for our clients. As a front-end developer your work will have a major impact on the user experience and performance of the platforms you will work on. Based on the assigned work you will make the trade-off between what you can solve yourself and when you transfer the work to one of your colleagues. We believe in the philosophy of working remote and have designed our internal processes accordingly. Reviewing the work of fellow developers before it is delivered to the client improves the quality of our teamwork and is part of our succesfull approach.
